This category is circumscribed by the boundary which makes the concept of ‘world religions’ function effectively. But the taxonomical division between ‘world religions’ may well be the product of theoretical or historical imagination, and if so, it is not natural but manufactured. In the same context, it is not natural to think that the statistical size of ‘believers’ might be correspond to the religious influence of a particular religion in a particular society. The numerical size of religious population will not protect a particular religion from the neoliberal threat of survival of the fittest. Today many religions are intent on increasing their own believers by religious education in private school. That is, they are transmuting a part of schooling into religious discipline. Presently many religions are more religious in school than in church and temple. Education is the most favorite food for the contemporary religions, and therefore many religions are recycling their traditional teachings into the technique of mind training in neoliberal situation. But when religions are ‘used’ in this way, they will fall into the level of micro-religion for curing the secular sundries.
